Derelict Dam Force Tear Location
Star Wars Jedi Survivor Derelict Dam Force Tear collectible features a time trial parkour challenge called Fractured Agility, in which you’ll have to be swift and precise in your jumps.
To complete the Fractured Agility Force Tear challenge, you must unlock the Upgraded Ascension Cable, which allows you to grapple between the floating orange balloons.
This can be obtained on your third visit to the planet of Koboh during the Confront Dagan at the Koboh Observatory main mission.
Also, finding the Force Tear in Derelict Dam can be quite confusing because you’ll have to visit another area to reach its location.
As such, follow our Star Wars Jedi Survivor guide to learn how to find the Derelict Dam Force Tear and how to complete the Fractured Agility challenge.
Koboh Derelict Dam Force Tear Location Map
The Fractured Agility Force Tear can be found at the top of the Derelict Dam on the planet of Koboh.
But to reach this location, you’ll have to fly on a giant bird located in the Boiling Bluff on Rambler’s Reach.
The Boiling Bluff is a side area you can find and start exploring after releasing the giant bird from the Forest Array.
You must go through the Untamed Downs region to discover the Boiling Bluff region. Check the image below for the exact location of the giant bird.
Once you reach the Boiling Bluff Meditation Point, mount the nearby Nekko and use it to reach and climb the ledge ahead. After you jump with the Nekko, immediately jump off it to catch onto the ledge.
Then, grapple onto the floating yellow balloons to reach the rock platform before the giant bird and press (R1/RT) to travel.
Please note that you’ll have to throw a flying balloon using the nearby spawn point to reach the other two.
Force Tear #1 (Fractured Agility): Above The Derelict Dam Meditation Point
After our friendly giant bird takes you back to the Derelict Dam, go toward the bricked wall to find the Derelict Dam Force Tear.
Also, look over the ledge to the left of Force Tear to find a red droid holding one of the Derelict Treasure collectibles. Destroy the droid to obtain the Treasure.
The Fractured Agility Force Tear features a large area, but don’t worry; We’ll walk you through it step by step.
After you start the Fractured Agility Force Tear challenge, use Force Pull to grab a floating balloon and throw it between the balloon spawning device and the red forcefield, then use the Ascension Cable on the balloon.
Because there is no straight path, you must aim past the barrier and use the Ascension Cable mid-air to grapple onto the second balloon.
Aim directly toward the third balloon, then find a proper angle to Jump and Dash mid-air on the wall.
After you get to the second wall, you’ll have to avoid the electricity.
To do that, jump on the side as you get close to the electricity, then Dash mid-air to return to the wall.
Then, grapple onto this “fidget spinner,” wait for a second, and after you release, perform a Double Jump and a mid-air Dash to reach the next grappling point. Make sure to time the jumps right.
Repeat this process two more times until you reach the electrified wall. Don’t forget to jump on the side and return with a mid-air Dash to avoid the electricity.
Prepare to jump over another wall. This one isn’t electric, so simply make your way to the opposite side.
From the end of the second wall, jump on the vertical spinner at the top, then perform a Double Jump and a mid-air Dash to reach and grapple on top of the second vertical spinner.
Here’s where things get tricky. You’ll have to leap forward from the second spinner and mid-air Dash on the collapsing platform marked in the image above.
You’ll have a few seconds to pull a floating balloon from the nearby machine and throw it ahead near the red forcefields, then jump off the platform and grapple on it before the platform collapses.
From the floating balloon you just launched, grapple onto the next balloon between the red forcefields.
Then, you’ll have to create this angle as in the image below, leap forward (don’t jump or dash), turn your camera to the right, and grapple onto the next floating balloon.
Repeat this process again, then launch yourself with a Double Jump and a mid-air Dash on the platform ahead.
Interact with the golden Derelict Dam Force Tear to complete the Fractured Agility challenge and return to Koboh.
As a reward for completing the Derelict Dam Fractured Agility challenge, you’ll receive an additional skill point to spend.
